That First Cup of Coffee
Posted by
onI love to start my mornings by walking in the garden or along the lakeshore with my 1st cup of coffee. There is something peaceful about being outdoors and observing nature. The brilliant blue color of the water seems to be more vivid in the morning light. Which is how we decided on the name Blue Water Polish Pottery.
All of our Polish Pottery Stoneware is handcrafted and hand decorated by skilled artisans from several of the finest factories in Boleslawiec, Poland. The beautiful cobalt blue seems to unify the patterns from the classic patterns to the signature unikat.
By having this common color, it allows you to mix and match patterns even from different factories such as Manufaktura, Kalich or Ceramika Artystyczna. Mixing and matching Polish Pottery patterns, embracing bold colors is half of the fun in collecting Polish Stoneware.
We have a large selection of Bubble Mugs. This Unikat Coffee Mug is “Impatiens” I was walking along Lake Superior when I took this photo.
