Polish Pottery is safe for the oven, microwave, freezer and dishwasher!

The stoneware distributes heat evenly for perfect baking, and the nonstick surface makes clean-up easy.  Although the pottery is extremely durable, it is pottery, so some care should be used. 

Caring For Your Pottery:

1) When putting Polish Pottery in the oven, always abide by the rule that cold pottery goes in a cold oven, and hot pottery goes in a hot oven. 

2) Do not put a hot dish in a sink full of water, as this may lead to glaze crazing or the dish to crack. 

3) When baking, use a wire rack to place your dish on to cool. Avoid putting it on a cold or wet counter. 

4) Don't take Polish Pottery straight from the freezer and put it into the oven.  Let it come to room temperature first. See Tip #1

5) The dishwasher is recommended for washing the pottery, as it is easy for you and gentle on the pottery. Avoid kitchen cleansers. 

6) Do not apply direct heat from a stovetop, grill or broiler.
