Fall has officially arrived and as the days become cooler it is fun to embrace the season. Fall is football, back to school, hayrides & going to the apple orchard. I love going to the apple orchard in the fall. This year will be special because our 1^st Granddaughter will be exploring the apple orchard too with her preschool class.

Summer is my favorite time of year for entertaining friends and family. The abundance of fresh produce from the garden and the casual dining outdoors gives you that casual but elegant table. Using Polish Pottery is an easy way to achieve this look while keeping you out of the kitchen. It looks beautiful and is has multiple uses. I use this serving tray as a cutting board and also a baking sheet! Best of all the non stick surface makes clean up easy, just put it in the dishwasher.

As the temperature cools outside soup is Fall/Winter’s great comfort food.

A fast easy recipe that is sure to please a crowd is Zucchini Soup.
5 cups of water
7 chicken Boullion cubes
7 medium Zucchini peeled and diced
1 8 OZ package of Cream Cheese

Bring water to a boil. Then add bullion cubes and zucchini boil for 10 minutes. Add cream cheese. Using a hand blender blend soup until creamy. Season with fresh ground pepper. Serve with crusty bread.
Serve this in one of our Polish Pottery Soup Tureens. Nobody has to know this delicious recipe only took a few minutes to make!
